Standard 7 – Marketing with children and adolescents

Word of Mouth Marketing is a very delicate marketing instrument, indeed. It is very hard to control and can easily become a snowballing unethical information chaos.
I believe that one of the most important points of marketing ethics is audience.
Not only are children and adolescents more vulnerable to advertisements and communication, but the newest generations have unlimited access to media messages in all of it's forms. The newest generation is one that will not have known life without internet and social media.
Therefore, by keeping true to this WOMMA standard, we do our best to protect the younger generations from advertising manipulation.
