Standard 5 – Genuine Honesty in Communication

How refreshing would it be to be able to get out of the proverbial ‘spin’ and get honest opinions about products and services? Whether you love it or hate it getting the opportunity to voice that opinion and stand behind it is the most fundamental of all rights in this country.

I find that I’m more drawn to products/places where I feel the reviews are genuine and not bought by rewarding the author or dictated by the business. I value honesty and think that if a marketer wants a positive image of their product or service that is something that needs to be earned.
