Branding by integrity.

The eight Standards of Conduct taken as a whole point to an organization protecting and building its brand. WOMMA seeks to be a symbol of integrity, the Better Business Bureau of word of mouth marketing. If WOMMA is to keep pace with this burgeoning marketing channel, it must fiercely guard its credibility. Members who desire to grow and leverage the strength of the WOMMA brand will have to self-police in order to guard it.

Consumers today are particularly adept at sniffing out the disingenuous and manipulated -- no one likes a pitch. In Standard 5, WOMMA ensures a framework of freshness and honesty by guarding against propaganda. Each testimonial builds WOMMA's brand simply by its truth.
