Honesty in Communication

When you hear about a new product or service, you want to know what others honestly think about it. What is so cool about that new smartphone? What makes this restaurant so popular? You might read reviews in articles or blogs, or see friends post their opinions on Facebook or Twitter. Which opinion do you value the most?

No matter who writes or shares their review of a product, we assume that they are communicating their honest opinion. The WOMMA Code of Ethics was established to help promote consumer protection. Marketers can provide consumers with the background on products, but consumers should be free to express their own opinions about it. Genuine honesty is the best way to communicate.
